What is the towing capacity of the 2024 Ford F-150?

Published on Jun 14, 2024 by McFarland Ford Creative Team

Towing is one of the most important aspects of any pickup truck. In addition to the versatility provided by the truck’s bed, being able to hook up a trailer and pull a boat, a four-wheeler or just extra storage space is one of the main reasons to purchase such a vehicle. As one of the most popular pickup trucks in the history of the automotive industry, the 2024 Ford F-150 needs to provide plenty of towing capacity in order to continue building its reputation and legacy, and it certainly does that. But if you’re in the market for a new pickup truck, you’ll likely be interested in learning exactly what the towing capacity is of each F-150 variant. That’s where we come in, ready to give you all the details on the different versions of the pickup truck and how much each one can trailer.

There are many different variables that determine how much the 2024 Ford F-150 is capable of towing, and these are the different configurations in which the truck is available. On top of choosing which trim level you want to opt for, you’ll have to choose which engine, drivetrain, cab style and bed length you want. These four variables create a ton of different configurations that you can choose to best suit your needs. Don’t plan on carting around too many passengers and would rather have a larger bed because of it? Go for the extended bed and regular cab. Would rather make sure you have plenty of space for passengers and are okay sacrificing a bit of bed space? Go for the SuperCrew with a short bed.
