1957

McFarland Ford is formed by Frank O. Patterson of Greenland, NH and Donald J. McFarland of Rye, NH. Henry McFarland, son of Donald invests in the dealership and joins the staff as well.

1960

Within a few years of opening, McFarland Ford moves from the converted barn on Court Street to Portsmouth Avenue in what is now the Robbins Auto Parts Building.

151 Portsmouth Avenue location.

1966

Construction begins to move into the current 151 Portsmouth Avenue location.

The McFarland family opens Hampton Ford in North Hampton, NH.

2017

The all-new McFarland Ford Showroom opens, with state-of-the art kitchen, waiting areas (with fireplace), and other amenities to ensure the comfort of our customers.

The brand new state-of-the-art Service Center opens to compliment the new showroom.
